Aimed at inspiring potential investors, future volunteers, and parks and recreation professionals, the campaign emphasized the enduring joy that vibrant, modern playgrounds bring to children. The Playful City USA initiative celebrated communities across the nation that demonstrated a strong commitment to play, designating 118 cities across 36 states as Playful City USA communities.
